Clinical Supervision — Reflective, Professional, Supportive
BACP Accredited, Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision, Certificate in Integrative Creative Supervision, IAPT Certificate in supervision Supervision for Counsellors, Psychotherapists & Trainees
Introduction
As a BACP Accredited Counsellor and qualified Creative Supervisor with a Diploma in Clinical Supervision, I offer warm, supportive supervision both online and in person for counsellors working with adults, children, and young people.
I believe supervision is about so much more than meeting professional requirements. At its heart, it is a relationship built on trust, openness, and collaboration. Counselling can sometimes feel like an isolated profession, which is why I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you can openly explore both the successes and challenges of your work.
My approach is warm, encouraging, and relational. I work integratively and am informed by the Seven-Eyed Supervision Model (Hawkins & Shohet), supporting supervisees to develop deeper self-awareness, professional confidence, ethical practice, and ultimately better outcomes for their clients. I aim to offer a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow, both personally and professionally.
Creativity is an important part of who I am and how I work. Alongside reflective dialogue, I may draw on imagery, metaphor, storytelling, visual tools, and other creative approaches to help deepen understanding, unlock fresh perspectives, and bring client work to life in meaningful ways. These approaches can often help us access insights that traditional discussion alone may not reveal.
I have extensive experience working with adults, children, and young people across a range of settings, including rehabilitation services, charities, and private practice. My experience includes supporting clients with mental health difficulties, neurodiversity, addiction, trauma, life transitions, and work-related challenges.
Alongside my therapeutic and supervisory work, I have developed and managed a successful private practice for a number of years. I understand both the rewards and challenges of working independently and am always happy to share knowledge, experience, and practical guidance where it may be helpful.
Whether you are a trainee, newly qualified counsellor, or an experienced practitioner, I tailor supervision to meet your individual needs. My hope is that our work together provides a space where you can think freely, celebrate your strengths, explore uncertainties with confidence, and remain connected to the passion and purpose that brought you into this profession.
I am always happy to offer an initial telephone conversation so that we can get a sense of whether we are a good fit for working together, with no obligation to book.
I believe the best supervision provides a place to pause, reflect, be gently challenged, and leave feeling supported, inspired, and reconnected to your practice.
Clinical supervision is an essential, reflective space for practitioners to explore their work, develop professionally, and ensure safe, ethical practice. Whether you are a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist, or in training, I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space to think through your clinical work, challenges, and professional growth.
Good supervision protects both you and your clients. It provides the opportunity to reflect on cases, explore feelings that arise in the therapeutic relationship, and ensure your practice remains grounded, ethical, and in line with professional standards.
